Latest QTL results
AquaSearch continue to develop and document genetic markers (QTL’s) as a tool for improved profitability and sustainability in trout production.
Recent field data has once again proven the relevancy of genetic markers in the control of RTFS in juvenile rainbow trout fry under commercial conditions.
For a period of 29 days, after detecting clinical RTFS in 1 gram fry, no antibiotic treatment was given in three QTL groups and three control groups.
Resulting in 2,1 % and 15,8 % average mortality respectively!
AquaSearch team strengthened
To service our customers even better and allow the continued expansion of AquaSearch business, AquaSearch team has been strengthened by logistic responsible: Emil Hansen.
Emil has a background in the airfreight forwarder industry and his main responsibility will be to meet our customers expectations in relation to safe, convenient and affordable transport to their preferred airport of arrival or in several European countries, directly to the farm address.

AQUA 2024
The World Aquaculture Society is organizing its annual scientific gathering and trade show in Copenhagen August 26th to August 30th. Copenhagen being our “home turf”, AquaSearch will obviously have a booth in the tradeshow area, and we hope for many existing and future customers to find time for visiting.
Should you plan to travel to Copenhagen for AQUA 2024, please let us know and we will organize free trade show passes to be collected at the fare entry.

AquaSearch CROSS+
Coming season will be exciting for AquaSearch and our customers. This will be the first season of commercial scale and quality availability of the hybrid between AquaGen and AquaSearch strains.
Many of our customers has already experienced superior performance with a CROSS+ “beta version”, but starting November it will be possible to experience the final product.
Early booking of AQS CROSS+ throughout the season is recommended.
